The Haifa National Museum of Science

The museum offers visitors the experience of gaining firsthand knowledge of the basic tenets of science and technology, which have made life so much more comfortable for us. The museum contains over four hundred exhibits which are there for you, the visitor, to experience and therefore make it easy for you to sample the different scientific phenomena through actually handling them. Our education wing , which constitutes an integral part of the museum, acts as a support center for school children, as well as the wider community, in fact for anyone who wishes to find out more about science, technology or space. Here in the education wing, we operate a network of labs on different scientific and technological subjects, as well as holding workshops and study sessions for young people. In addition to all this, we also operate a mobile science unit which travels far and wide outside the main center in Haifa. All in all, the center is responsible for about 80 study programs on all sorts of subjects, including physics, astrophysics, chemistry, environmental values, maths, robotics, genetics, electricity, electronics and last but not least various technologies and strategies for the protection of science. The education wing is extremely adaptable and will fit in with every last need and request of each and every group wishing to visit our museum.
